About Becky Glenn
I have a strong passion for providing personalised support to help students reach their full potential. I believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to learn in a way that suits their needs and interests.
My educational background includes a BA (Hons) in English from the University of Lincoln, as well as a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education) from Bishop Grosseteste College, Lincoln. With over 16 years of experience in Early Years and Primary education, I have had the privilege of teaching students with a variety of learning differences and needs.
My decision to specialise in working with children with dyslexia stems from my daughter's diagnosis. I was determined to help her succeed and enjoy the learning process. I strongly believe in recognising the strengths and unique skills that dyslexia can bring.
To further my expertise, I pursued additional training with the BDA and earned my Level 5 Specialist Certificate in Dyslexia: Literacy, Support, and Intervention, as well as a Level 7 Diploma to assess learners with Specific Learning difficulties (Dyslexia). I am proud to hold an AMBDA qualification, making me a qualified assessor with an APC certification.
I also enjoy voluntary work on the British Dyslexia Association Helpline. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate, relevant insurance as well as full memberships with the British Dyslexia Association and Patoss.
